Hi everyone,

I have just approved a recipe for roasted veggie chili to be posted. I

thought I had read it through thoroughly but after I had already

approved it I noticed that the recipe includes sausage meat as one of

the ingredients. The recipe looks quite delicious but please be sure

to use a vegetarian alternative to the sausage meant mentioned.

I do apologise for being less than vigilant in my moderation. '

Hi Marie and Everyone -

Thanks Marie - good you caught it - I saw this Pending on another

group and decided (for other reasons) not to make a decision on

it just then so left it BUT I didn't notice the sausage meat.

Okay, now, this is a vegetarian group, but sometimes a couple of

things (at least) can happen. If one belongs to several groups and

is not a vegetarian, then one crossposts to the wrong group. It

happens :( Also, sometimes veggies either forget to change the

ingredients to suit the group OR (does that make 3 things?) they

assume that we're all clever enough to make the changes ourselves.

As to the last, we are clever enough, but on a veggie group only

veggie ingredients, please!

So yes, sorry if these things sneak through occasionally - I had a

ton of them earlier in the summer - sneaking through in the Notes

to the recipes, as it happened - so let us know if you see anything

here that doesn't properly 'belong'. Okay???

Love to all - and let's have some lovely veggie recipes from you!!

Best, Pat (Group Owner)

Indeed - and by the time the non-vegetarian items were out of the

recipe it would indeed be another recipe that would need to be

tried in the kitchen before posting. (The recipe post has been

removed from our archives.)
