Guest guest
>Baked Vegetables this sounds complicated but wonderful. I had a happy sort of accident once. I usually dump a bag of frozen mixed veggies in a skillet with 1/4 in. of water and let it " stir-steam " (and then do all kinds of wonderful things with it, including just sprinkling salt and pepper and eating it). Well, that requires a certain amount of tending and I didn't have any time to do that. So I turned on the oven, dumped the frozen veggies into a baking dish and set the timer for about 20 minutes--then went back to work at whatever I was doing that was more important than cooking dinner. Yum! they were *so* much better than steamed. I bet it was good, and it couldn't have been more easy. ~ P_T ~ Which of us has not been stunned by the beauty of an animal's skin or its flexibility in motion? -Marianne Moore ~~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~ , Susan Cogan <susan-brassfield@o...> wrote: > >Baked Vegetables > > this sounds complicated but wonderful. > > I had a happy sort of accident once. > > I turned on the oven, dumped the > frozen veggies into a baking dish and set the timer for about 20 > minutes--then went back to work at whatever I was doing that was more > important than cooking dinner.
