Hi,

Carrot and apples is one of my favorite combos as well. I sometimes

use ginger in it...very warming for the winter. Or sometimes I will

use pumpkin pie spice. So yummy!!!

Wondering...how does your body show cleansing from the juices? Is it

a feeling of lightness, or does it 'clean you out' so to speak, or

what?

Well for me I juice in the morning and only consume fruits till 11-12. Then I

wait at least 2 hours before eating a full meal.

Your body will aborb, process and eliminate properly if you do this. FRESH

Fruits are mostly water and sugar and digest with in 30 min to 1 hour . But if

you eat them with a meal instead of alone it takes hours to digest and you lose

and it can cause indegestion. Died fruits can be eaten anytime, but should be

counted carefully (lots of sugar)

I read this book Fit for Life and it has some great information about how our

bodies process food. and food combonations.

I started eating this way about one month ago for health..and ended up losing

weight ..which is a plus ++++++++++++ I also do not have to take my aciphex

anymoreand I go everyday.

Hope this helps

What is a good juicer - on a budget? I don't want something that will

fall apart, but also cannot buy a $100 juicer.

Well, I would 1st try to get one for free in the free cycle network in

groups. Most city's have one set up. I happen to get lucky and got a nice one

from a lady for free. Juicers run between 80-250 .

Just like you found this group go to and serch for free cycle and

find your town. This site is great you can offer unwanted items, receive items,

trade.

I get grapefruit, lemons, limes, oranges for free from people unwanted fruit

trees. It is a great way to reduce the landfills, and recycle.
