Hallelujah Diet

Hi again!

The Hallelujah Diet uses a lot of carrot juice, other juices, and fresh

fruit and vegetables, so when I read that you used those, I just wondered if you

were on that program. It's a vegan program and along with the juice, fruit

and veg, it also uses Barley grass powder. It's mostly a raw food program, with

only 15% or so of cooked foods.

I have to say that you cut out meat for some very important reasons! That's

really wonderful. I'm an ex-vegetarian, trying to get back on the bandwagon

in 2008. When I was veg, back in the 90's, I felt fabulous and had lots of

energy. Unfortunately I fell off the turnip wagon, and have suffered for it

since.

I look forward to getting back on the path to health.

What is " monk meat " ? Is that seitan or something similar?

Looking forward to hearing more from you!

Cath

Most doctors here in the US (Don't know where you are) don't get a whole lot

of training in nutrition and tend to be skeptical about vegetarianism. You can

eat eggs and drink milk and be considered a vegetarian (what they call

Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian.) However " vegans " don't do eggs, milk, honey, and ethical

vegans don't wear leather or fur.

Grass powder sounds gross...no offense to anyone..

Hee Hee, my husband calls it " Swamp Juice " and won't even try it. The first

time I had it, it was gross, but it grew on me, and I came to like it. It's

very nutritious. (-:

spelling error........Its like the mornings star farms or boga burger meat

alternatives

I was semi veg a few years back and my doctor told me I had to eat meat or I

would die ..severe b12 definecey ...turns out he was a nut. My B12 is stable

again and I give myself shots. I gained 20 pounds and Gerd. So I really don't

know if I would call myself a veg. I consume free range eggs and milk.I do

already feel a ton better.

Grass powder sounds gross...no offense to anyone.. I like raw fruit and some

raw veggies for salad. Hats to those who can consume that much veggies in the

natural form.
