Guest guest
I posted earlier that I am trying to cook more and stocking my kitchen so I can / will easier. Welllllllllllllllll....I am definitely cooking more, trying all kinds of recipes (classes don't start until January 17th for me). And now my refrigerator is overflowing with all kinds of wonderful things to cook with / containers of stuff I made. I used to use things like Boca crumbles instead of hamburger to make stuff I ate before I stopped eating meat. Pretty much out of that habit. And using less and less recipes with cheese (vegan cheeses). I am no longer adapting recipes to be vegetarian / vegan, but finding recipes created to be vegetarian / vegan. This site is awesome for recipes!

That's great. You know, I never found it very satisfactory to convert 'normal' recipes to veg*n - they always were, well, converted recipes: not the real thing. Then I discovered how many wonderful recipes had always been veg*n and started making those. Wonderful!!!! After being veggie for so long I can now sometimes enjoy a 'converted' dish, although I rarely think of it as being that because I don't remember the taste of the 'original'. Now eat up all those lovely goodies in your fridge!!!! How wonderful - send some this way? Love and hugs, Pat ---- Dr Patricia M.
