PAT - RECIPE: Haggis

Hi Pat,

 

Thanks for all your helpful advice about the haggis recipe. I'm really keen

to try this recipe out - I'm not too sure when it will be though. We have

friends from Malta visiting over the Burns Night weekend and, even though they

are vegetarians, I think vegetarian haggis might be a bit of a culture shock for

them if I served it then (LOL).

Oh good grief, give them a break! LOL I think

that veg haggis is a bit much to ask of anyone

unless they have a cultural or sentimental

attachment to the idea of it! It's really just a

beans and grains dish, ya know, flavoured with a

little bit of this and that. But . . . . Serve

one of your specialties - they'll love it! (And I

was reporting on what I'd made for Burns Night

(and by default New Year), not what anyone else

should do

 

Have a lovely time - and tell us what you had

with your friends! Always interesting to know

what people serve to other veggies
