I'm also on a weight loss plan, and recently joined Curves to get some motivation going! It's fun. I'm also working on getting rid of Seasonal Affective Disorder this year, so got one of those Light Boxes at long last, and wow, it is working great! I just use it for thirty minutes in the morning while I do my email. I am getting more energy by the day, and also sleeping better at night. I've loved holistic healing for a long time, and work with herbs and nutrition to heal myself whenever possible. It's always amazing to me how a few simple changes can fix things that drugs just seem to compound instead. I have a horrid history of allergies and reactions to medications, so am trying life without them. I've also found, since getting my dog seven years ago, that I just don't want to eat animals. It really turns me off. Because I'm so close to him, that I think we read each others minds sometimes. And that makes me think a lot differently about animals in general. <<<Many of us have to adapt to various dietary restrictions for health or other reasons and I am always amazed at how inventive people can be in coming up with delicious recipes to suit their personal requirements. Your recipe has given me a great incentive to have a go at making whole grain tortillas. Thank you for sharing it. Cheers from Marie>>> I think that's a great idea! I've known southwestern women who have talked about making their own, and how much more delicious they are than the store bought ones. Though I'm really happy since they came out with whole grain ones here, so probably won't try that, just due to time constraints. I would love to find a mild salsa with NO tomatoes, or a recipe for one. When I find the fruit ones, they also have tomatoes in them. Tomatoes suddenly started making me feel as if my whole body was full of acid, and I felt as if I'd been poisoned, and it was awful! If I hadn't dreamed repeatedly of throwing tomatoes on the compost heap or into the trash, I wouldn't have guessed what was doing it either! Dreams are amazing sources of pointing us in the right direction for healing. I think of tomatoes as so healthy, but not if they're hurting you, they're not! I've just recently gotten back on a vegetarian diet after taking a year back into meat eating, and finding my joints and muscles extremely unhappy about that choice! The acid buildup from digesting meat had me in constant pain. I had been a vegetarian before that for about two and a half years though, so I know what I'm doing this time around, .
