My younger girl is a special needs furbaby too - at not quite six (nearly two years ago now) she went suddenly and irrevocably blind with SARD (well named). That's why we don't get annoyed when she drags our shoes out and around the place. It's a leftover bit of fun, which she had outgrown, from her puppy phase. Then about a year after going blind and waiting without success for Mom and Dad to either turn the lights back on or pay the electricity bill, she started this puppy game again, tail wagging all over the place LOL She brings them to 'trade' for treats, just as when she was a puppy she was taught to relinguish something she shouldn't have ('Drop it') for a reward. A smile doesn't do it anymore, but a little piece of kibble does What's with your little furkid?
