Guest guest Posted February 5, 2008 Report Share Posted February 5, 2008 Since I'm a relatively new vegetarian, I've been trying to read and learn . . . but I love easy recipes and would like to share one of mine with you!! I'm not even sure you can call it a " recipe " , but my husband and 2 young sons love it and we eat this at least once (usually twice!) a week! 3 Alarm Chili: 1 can vegetarian chili (Hormel or Amy's - try the HOT for more spice!) 1 can petite diced tomatoes 1 can kidney beans (or any bean of your choice) Open the 3 cans, place in microwavable dish and cover, heat 3-5 minutes until hot and serve! (Of course, my chili is adorned with cut up fresh veggies I keep in the fridge, like green pepper, onion, carrots, and tomatoes while my boys have shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream -- they also like to eat thiers with peanut butter sandwiches!).
