I am convinced that some kind of therapy intervention will make a

difference. I am also convinced that if I can find the right

nutritional makeup and antioxidants / toxin cleansing to get rid of

stuff she has been given to " treat " the symptoms will help. I will

read more of the information that has been suggested.

Thanks, Carol

Really great nutrition could help. But what is really great nutrition.

And what else maintains a healthy organism physically and

psychologically?

The animal organism needs nutrients, exercise and water.

BTW the brain becomes dehydrated first.

---------------------

Nutrients like wheat grass, spirulina and omega fatty acids

---------------------

Some other things that are really important. Goal reaching.

Socialization and love. People need connection, that is why so many

get pets.

---------------------

Colloidal mineral water which includes minerals one may not get.

The proof that the human organism needs organic sulfur is

scientifically verified, but do we get it from our diet? I personal

don't think so.

Some things less believed in but used quite a bit are things like.

EDTA

Clay detoxifiers

--------------------

Some dementia is a matter of age and related problems. Old tissue may

not work and doctors might actually be doing everything possible to

help. Drugs are not necessarily bad and may be the best hope.

Some of these other things may help if they are not in contradiction

with medical advise. Too often when something does not work, people

chose not to trust doctors and things get worse. Be careful.

Please be careful not to avoid the doctor because that is where you

will go when there is a problem. But I think normal things will not

bother the doctor.

Also, food with a little of the correct kind of spice will flavor the

meal and help the palatability.

Supplementing her diet with B12 and cayenne is a great idea and even

I do that. It is one of those things that can't hurt and may help. I

use Black Salt from India 'kala namak' and that has spice and

minerals. Wow, you should try it.

Talk about a spice!

and here are a few more sugestions on diet choices that may help:

Selenium rich and other anti-oxidants foods:

(Protect cells from free-radical damage, enable thyroid hormone

procduction, help lower risk of joint inflammation, etc)

Excellent sources of selenium include garlic, mushrooms, cod, shrimp,

snapper, sardines, tuna, halibut, salmon, calf's liver and Brazil

nuts (one of the most concentrated food sources of selenium,

featuring about 70-90 micrograms per nut).

Some sites and groups that may help:

/search?query=dementia

Hope it gets better soon...

God bless
