Intro from Tracy

Hello everyone, I'm Tracy and I'm new to the group.

I'm 33 yrs old and from North Carolina. I am a single mother to

my brilliant 11 yr old son.

I have 3 loving cats that also make up my household.

 

I am not yet a vegetarian but have been in the past. I am fixing

to move and plan on resuming my diet when I am back on my own.

I love all kinds of hot and spicy foods, so I feel this is the place for me.

Brilliant eh? Totally intimidating, I'd call it

*lol* And good for you! Not easy being a single

mom!!

Now that's a real challenge. One cat (such as the

one who shares his home with us - that's what ya

meant, right?) is a handful, two would be

something else. Three????? Hats off to you

(Btw, ours is a tiger tabby boy named Misha. He

thinks, some of the time at least, that he's a

beagle. Two beagles run the rest of our

household.)

Okayyyy, then This will not be a grand mystery

to you, right? If you've been veggie before, then

you know the delights and the difficulties - the

delights outweighing the difficulties, of course.

Good luck with the change back - and good luck

with the move. Always a tricky time in one's

life!

Oh we love hot and spicy here! In the Files

you'll find that many if not most folders have

two folders within them - one for hot and spicy

and one for those with less 'heat'. The truth is,

either kind of recipe can usually be adapted to

less or more heat, unless it's something that

absolutely depends on blandness (or heat of

course!) for its identity. Look around and see

what you can find. And if you have trouble, give

a shout. There are lots of kind people here who

just love to help - truly, they really do. We're

a nice friendly group and we understand the

problems of transition
