Guest guest
Hi, I'm Kaye from Grand Prairie, TX (lived here for about a month, formerly of Illinois all of my life). I have only been a vegetarian for four months and my family is still transitioning to vegetarianism as well. We have all been non-dairy too for about 4 months. I am happy to find your site for friendship and recipes and support, I crave an occasional hamburger I'm afraid. I like simple recipes, don't like to cook, but bake quite a bit. I have a good Chocolate Banana Bread recipe that we all just love and I will post when I get the chance. We are also a homeschooling family including my husband, son (12) and daughter (8). Peace~Kaye

Guest guest
Kaye....I love Whole Foods too. I like to buy their organic produce. We don't have any stores that compare to Whole Foods in Grand Prairie. Tom Thumb on Carrier is nice, but they don't have much in the way of organic foods. Have you been to Central Market in Fort Worth yet? I like it better than Whole Foods, but I only go 1 or 2 times per year because of the distance. My daughter and I make a afternoon of it when we go. We always eat there too! It is really and fun store. Cheryl I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power. .......Phillipians 4:13 Never miss a thing. Guest guest
Hello Cheryl I am in Euless/Fort Worth 360 area, I go to Whole Foods in Arlington ever so often. Until last week it was the closets place for me to buy something called Crazy Water. I also prefer their 365 peanut butter. And I love Central Market as well. Have you ever been to a grocery store in Grapevine called Market Street? It is a cross between a Central Market and a traditional store. I love the atmosphere in Market Street, I can get high quality products and i think their prices are a little bit friendlier to my wallet then Central Market is. Winterchill 'Do what thou wilt, but harm none'. This is a positive morality, not a list of thou-shalt-nots. Each individual is responsible for discovering his or her own true nature and developing it fully, in harmony with the outer world. Cheryl <moodyblues4 wrote: Kaye....I love Whole Foods too. Guest guest
Thanks for the recommendation Cheryl! Next time my mother visits we will do just that!! My mother is not a vegetarian, but has always eaten a mainstay of fruits, veggies, and breads, so she loves good produce markets, plus she has been all over and very much enjoys new finds!! Guest guest
[Previous three messages deleted by moderator to make this one, at the bottom, more visible.] i luv whole foods. here is a recipe (made by me) with whole wheat: Easy Deep Dish Pizza Mix in a bowl 3 tsp. yeast, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. sugar, 1 and 1/8 cup white flour, 1 and 1/8 cup flour (any kind or kinds). Add a cup hot water and mix until dough forms. Drizzle 2 T. vegetable oil one on top and one on the bottom. Then knead dough by spinning bowl and pressing spoon against dough. Place small towel over bowl and let sit 30 min. Get out a pan 9 " by 13 " and place dough in center. Using palms of your hands push dough to sides. Add a bowl of Abby's Pizza Sauce and cheese to taste. Then add your favorite pizza toppings. Bake at 450 & #730; for 10 min. to 15 min.
