I don't know if it was here or somewhere else that someone was talking about a

product

called Sheese - totally vegan and as they say kosher and pareve - and very good.

We were wandering around the market today and I decided to give another little

sashay

past the cheese stall - ya never know, maybe they'll have something other than

Tofutti

(which is pretty okay btw). And there was a whole bunch of Sheese - from

Scotland - so I

bought the blue cheese variety (there are lots of varieties) to try it out. CAD

7.99 for 8

ounces, 227 g. 28 g = 100 calories, so still pretty high in calories - be

warned - and the

fat content is high of course. Anyway, we tried a little of it at lunchtime.

Very convincing

indeed!!!! We're going out to find one of the other kinds on our afternoon walk

:)

Have a look here, if you're interested:

They show all their brands and they even have recipes.

I realize most of you probably know all this - but if you don't . . . .

Love and hugs, Pat

I've actually had a difficult time finding faux cheese stuffs that are totally

vegan. But now (as of yesterday) we live in a bigger city with a couple more

options so maybe, just maybe, I will have more luck.

I found some Toffuti cream chees. I needed it for a recipe. It tastes....

ok.. I guess. After taste was a bit... different. I don't really wanna say

bad.. just different.
