HI all,

I am a new veggie and was hoping to get some help with adjusting a

recipee. I really love the flavor of Oriental chicken Salad. I could

leave the chicken out of it but the dressing calls for the flavor

packet from chicken flavored ramen. Are there any chickenflavored dry

spice out there that does not have any animal in it?

Thanks,

Sarah B.

Absolutely! I don't know where in the world you are, but there are

fake chicken bouillon mixes, and powdered 'chicken' stock/soup base all

over the place. If you don't mind a bit of a hunt, you should be able

to find something. I found some at a Fred Meyers in their bulk spices

(ages ago) and remember finding others in similar places--of course you

can always try health food stores, too. Lucie

Well since I am such a newb at this I was also wondering if there is a recipee

for Vegetable stock. I really prefer to make as much as possible at home.

Thanks,
