Hello all! My name is Patricia. I've been a vegetarian for four years,

today is my anniversary date I guess you can say. I had made the

decision to start eating healthier, because I was not healthy at all.

I'm five foot tall, and at the time I weighed 220lbs. and wore a size

20 in women's clothing. Today, I am about 125lbs. and wear a size 5 or

7 in Junior's pants. I try to keep to a fairly strict diet, I dont

allow too much of the dairy or egg, but I do eat them on occasion, I

saw a quote from another board " Vegan at home vegetarian everywhere

else " . That pretty much describes me. I look back and see how not only

my life has changed but alot of my habits as well, I crave tofu, I

crave tomato and onion sandwiches with vegenaise. Whereas before I

would crave a big chicken sandwich from carl's Jr. If there are

diabetics here I would also like to learn some things from you as

well, like how you control your diabetes. It runs rampant in my family

on both sides and I've gone sugar free as well, to help my mother. I

so look forward to getting to know all of you.
