Welcome, Patricia (hmmm, I like that name!)

 

Congratulations on losing all that weight - you must feel ever so much better

and be more mobile, as well as having the pleasure of knowing you look good! And

how very nice to know that it was being vegetarian and eating a healthier diet

that did it for you! We like to hear success stories like that!!!

Well, I'm not diabetic or even pre-diabetic myself, but I have it in the family

too so I'm a candidate - a good reason for me to have lost my excess weight too

(which wasn't so tricky once I put my mind to it!). If there are diabetic

members here, I should think that they might be willing to write back about it

:) There are vegetarian diabetic groups on of course which might also be

able to advise you, but no doubt you have already canvassed these?

 

Enjoy the group - and write in often. Oh, and send recipes, if you like (Your

'tried-and-true' vegetarian or vegan ones, of course.). We love lots and lots

of recipes, especially SPICY ones :) (which you might have guessed from the

theme of the list!).
