Guest guest
Hi Gypsy, & nbsp; Welcome to the group. & nbsp; I'm Marie, 62, and I am an expat Australian now living in Haarlem, Netherlands. & nbsp; & nbsp; It was interesting reading about the reasons you chose to become vegetarian. & nbsp; I know what you mean about it taking a long time to think about making a lifestyle change. & nbsp; I am in just about the same place regarding becoming vegan. & nbsp; I have been a vegetarian for many years and the idea of veganism really appeals but & nbsp;I don't know if I can imagine myself making the changes needed. & nbsp;It isn't so much the dietary changes, but having to change my shopping and cooking habits. & nbsp; As well as having to spend extra time shopping around for different ingredients & nbsp;(there are not many & nbsp;ready made vegan ingredients available where I live anyway) & nbsp;a vegan way of life seems to require far more time in the kitchen. & nbsp; & nbsp; Reading about how you have gladly embraced the lifestyle change to become vegetarian gives me encouragement to think even more closely about making my own changes. & nbsp; Welcome once again, & nbsp; Cheers from Marie --- On Thu, 29/5/08, nicki_in_cincy & lt;lovemylocks & gt; wrote: nicki_in_cincy & lt;lovemylocks & gt; Newbie Here!
