Keeping This Group Safe From Spam - Please Read

We are sure every member of this group wants it to be a safe, friendly

community

where we can share recipes and ideas as well as ask/answer questions

about the

vegetarian/vegan way of life and engage in friendly chat of interest

to members.

The owners/moderators try hard to achieve this goal. One of the ways

we do this

is to moderate posts carefully for any inappropriate content. That way

we keep

your mailboxes free from annoying messages as much as we possibly can.

Well, we

try

 

So could you please do three things to help us all here?

 

* Could you please take care NOT to cross-post to this group unless

you are

certain that it is appropriate to the group. (The rules of Vegetarian

Spice are

not complicated and are sent to all new members and re-sent to the

entire group

at the start of each month.) We know that accidents can happen, but we

ask you

please to take due care.

 

* Could you please NOT include commercial links in your posts unless

you explain

why you think the link is appropriate AND unless you explain that you

have no

affiliation (financial or personal) with the commercial company or website

involved. (That saves us a lot of time and anguish.)

 

* Finally, could you please restrict links to your websites beneath your

signatures to LINKS ONLY, not descriptions of your sites or appeals

for action.

 

Posts which do not comply, sad to say, must be removed, rejected or

amended by

the owners/moderators. We do hope you understand why we have to do

this now and

then. (Additionally, it should be added, such posters could be in

danger or

losing membership here - not something we want to happen.) Write to

-owners if in doubt.

 

We want to continue to keep this group safe from unwanted material -

especially

that which comes under the unlovely name of SPAM. We do so hope you

understand.
