I have never thought of eating flowers.

I mentioned it to my son and he said that he stir fries zucchini flowers

occasionally.

Next year I will plant an estra zucchini for the flowers.

I don't know if I've ever had zucchini flowers! You must tell me/us about them!

What I have just remembered having, however, is banana flowers. Years ago in

Sydney, Australia, one of our favourite restaurants was one of several Prasits -

a wonderfully creative chef who did wonderful asian fusion. He created a spicy

hot banana-flower salad that brought raves from everyone who tried it! (I just

reminded my husband of it after I wrote that last sentence, and his eyes glazed

over while his lips twitched in a happy reminiscent smile :) )

Love and hugs, Pat
