WELCOME!

Won't you please say Hello to the group and tell us a little bit about yourself,

such as:

* which city or country you live in

VMANN: I currently live in St. Paul, MN, but I am originally from Green Bay,

WI.

* how long you've been veggie (or interested, if you're not a veggie)

VMANN: I'm not a veggie, but I am experimenting with the lifestyle, because I

eat way too much meat, and because I'm studying traditional chinese medicine.

* and - oh - anything else you'd like to share! Kids? Dogs? Cats? Hobbies?

Favourite hates?

VMANN: I'm just not knowledgeable about vegetarianism OR cooking at all. LOL.

Got any easy recipes?

One thing I'd like to find are some good vegetarian recipes that don't make me

still feel like I'm hungry.

Thanks!

Boca Burgers are made with meat substitute with the ingredients varying

depending on the kind you get. Boca makes other products, too, like meatless

chili, burger already crushed for addition to recipes, meatless sausages

(breakfast, links and otherwise), and there's also Morningstar Farms. Have you

heard of that? They make a great meatless bacon, which is excellent for BLT's. I

am including a link so you can check it out.

I would be interested in recipes also. One thing I love is cucumber salad, and I

started mixing that with different squashes. I also love to mix in crushed boca

burger or boca hamburger subsititute with pasta. I havent had breakfast yet and

this is making me hungry.

I love Morningstar bacon, I think I am headed for Morningstar Bacon addiction if

I dont get ahold of myself.  I had forgotten about Gardenburger but need to pick

that brand up again if i can find them.  I am not too wild about Boca burgers

but love their chik lik products.

I love it, too! I only buy it when it's on sale, though, and sure hope it goes

on sale again soon because I'm almost out of it.
