Hi folks!

I agree with the person who said they were annoyed with folks who

call themselves vegetarians who still eat flesh occasionally. Maybe

they can call themselves wanna-be-vegetarians.

The transition from vegetarian to vegan is not that big a deal! YOU

CAN DO IT! Especially when you consider the huge amount of

suffering, cruelty and death you are preventing by simply making

this change. A vegetarian saves many lives. You can read a good

discussion of this topic here

http://www.veganfreaks.net/forum/showthread.php?p=490867

There are several brands of vegetarian dog food available. I feed

my dogs Natures Receipe Vegetarian. You can purchase it at

Petsmart. They love it. You can also get vegetarian food for cats,

although that's trickier. My cats are not totally vegetarian and I

feel bad about that.

By the way, there was a person who asked about Boca burgers the

other day. They are like a hamburger, but vegetarian/vegan. You

can find them in the frozen section of your grocery store. Be sure

to get the VEGAN Boca burger. Not all Boca products are vegan. The

corn dogs have egg and milk in them, as do many of their other

products.... Vegans and vegetarians really learn to read food

labels, as there are often hidden ingredients in many products that

you wouldn't expect... like beef broth in vegetable soup, milk and

egg and honey in many breads, etc. There is a good website where

you can find ordinary foods that are vegan....

Happy Cruelty-free eating!
