Butter Bean Pie / was RECIPE - Aubergine (eggplant) & chickpea

Hi Dragon!

 

I have never tasted butter bean pie (they're what we call lima beans,

right?), but I'm intrigued because I love beans any way they come

 

I googled, and this is what I found (among others) - seems as if you

could jazz it up quite a bit if you're a true spice lover (and who'd

be here if they weren't!!!!! LOL) - Might be something I'd try myself,

minus the oil and puff pastry (hmmm, what to use instead for a crust!)

since I don't eat that *shrug*

 

Would love to see your version when you get around to it Thanks for

a great idea for a different kind of bean dish. Live and learn, eh?
