My name is Rain, and I just joined, I'm a happily single 59-year-old clergywoman, herbalist and writer from Louisville, KY, and a passionate cook. I'm owned by two delightful and impossible cats, and I love to grow my own food and flowers. (And catnip. They insist. ) The last few years I've been making Indian food a lot; give me a good bowl of /rajma/ and I'm a happy woman. Yamuna Devi is my goddess. But I love all kinds of other vegetarian food too, especially if it's spicy-hot. I don't get in people's faces about what they eat or what they choose to call it. It's fine that you're not actually vegetarian - several of our members are not - just as long as you remember not to discuss me*t/flesh in any form (And I'm sure you will remember!) We have lots of wonderful recipes here, and you can access them readily from our Homepage - just click into Files. If they don't satisfy your love for spice, then I just don't know what will LOL If there's anything in particular you're looking for, please let us know - we love to help and there are some very talented cooks here! Btw, I'm owned by a lovely cat too (We also have a beagle who is less demanding ). I'm hoping you'll have some nice spicy recipes to share with us too!
