Guest guest
How did we become vegetarian? Well it sounds pretty lame now, but it was just that we decided we didn't like the idea of eating, er, animals - once-living creatures. And at the time we knew several vegetarians and they managed just fine without (although some called themselves vegetarian and ate fish, as we did at first). Anyway, we liked it that way - without the flesh - and then we moved on to better food and then on to veganism more recently. Of course, since I started being veggie I know all about the cruelty to animals and can think of no reason I'd want to go back to inflicting that kind of pain on a fellow creature just to satisfy an acquired taste for me*t. Ymmv. Oh, if you don't want to do it for the animals, think of the health! It's unhealthy to eat me*t!!! Anyone else want to tell? Rain? I'm not a vegetarian, but a vegetarian wanna-be. Various reasons. Mostly weak - habit - good intentions not enough - like certain flavours.
