Hi again! I forgot to mention that we also have a couple of Rajma recipes you

might like :)

There's also another lovely one, but it does use a jar of proprietary curry

paste/sauce among it's many ingredients.

Best, Pat

Hmmm. . .was I not supposed to post a recipe with curry paste in it?

Oh hey, Rain, that wasn't it at all! :) What it was: Linda prefers to

mix her own spices rather than buy them ready made and in your recipe

there is some curry paste among other chosen spices so it might

interest her or it might not - depending on how much of a purist she

is and depending on the availability of the particular curry paste you

indicate.

Some people - myself included (although there have been some notable

exceptions) - like to make everything themselves from scratch,

especially when it comes to spices. I like it because I can make

subtle differences from time to time :) BUT when I make Thai food I

sometimes have used a little of a blended spice blend I used to get

from a nearby shop in addition to other ingredients (like yourself

with the Rajma) and there's a hot spicy bean paste that is great for

some Hunanese dishes. So there ya go - if consistency is a virtue then

I'm decidedly a bad girl LOL It's all a matter of personal preference

(like not liking broccoli or preferring apple pie without the rhubarb).

Take care and keep those lovely recipes coming.

Love, Pat
