Guest guest
I found a recipe in cookbook for Tunisian vegetable stew that has become a staple for me, when I want something to eat and don't want to put in hours of labor into prepping. I've seen some similar recipes in our files, and am mentioning this for people looking for easy cooking that tastes great. The concept is easy: vegetables, spices (turmeric and cayenne) and water...boil. I'm starting to experiment. The taste is simple, and with just the right pinch of cayenne, the taste of the vegetables still comes through loud and clear, but with a nice 'glow' in the mouth. It's great on couscous, or rice. I've also eaten it with a baked potato. Main vegetables: carrots, turnips (quartered), tomato, onion, and I've been adding yams and potato (when eaten with rice or couscous.) How simple!
