Guest guest
Hi Shenoa and welcome to the group. I agree with you that all the reasons for choosing a veg*n diet are important - we have everyone in the group ranging from those who are finding their first steps in a vegetarian way of life to convinced vegans such as yourself, and it is important to respect each other's way of life although we do insist on not allowing any discussion about animal products. You will no doubt by now have found your way to the recipes in the Files section or via a search in the message archives - if you have any problems finding what you want we will be pleased to help - and we look forward to trying some of your hot, spicy vegan recipes! Piers (co-owner vegetarian spice group) Shenoa's answers to the questionnaire: 1) I am vegan. 2) I am vegan for all the reasons listed in question #2. I can't pick one particular reason because I am Buddhist and all points are equally important to me. 3) I cook vegan food for myself and my husband regularly but, also for family and friends when they are guests. 4) I only cook vegan food. 5) Yes. I read labels carefully and always ask questions when dining out. 6) No need. My supplements are vegetarian. 7) I'm looking for cooking inspiration and I will post some of my recipes, as well. 8) We LOVE hot and spicy food and LOVE anything with N.M. green chiles. 9) I read everything! We have a very large cookbook collection and I seek out recipes on the web. We also to Veg News and Vegetarian Times and have for many years. 10) Inspiration and support! 11) I am 63 years old! 12) I am a naturopathic physician and nutritional consultant. Thank you!
