Guest guest
This sounds really good, Piers - We could use some detils abouthow to make the Loempias too - Not everyone just makes them as a matter of course a couple of times a week or so!!LOL Okay, and do you use chiles in that 'stir fry' of paksoi etc. too ??? and what else? Some of us need to be guided, my friend! Best, Pat Sounds delicious Pat! I checked the fridge and found paksoi (bok choy), half an aubergine (eggplant), and some celery and spring onions, all of which needed consuming pretty soon. Plus a large tomato, garlic, chopped ginger, vegetable stock and... turmeric (of course). All sounds familiar to regular readers. With Thai jasmine rice and a few loempias (spring rolls) left over from a big batch we made yesterday for someone who was celebrating something! Guest guest
Hi Pat and all, Believe me the stir fry was spicy enough - no chilli because there weren't any in the house, just a good dollop of sambal oelek to earn it the qualification " spicy " . Can't think of any other ingredients, it was basically a variation on a theme I've posted about before, sometimes with tofu or other items serendipitously found. You're right though about the couple of times a week - we're into loempia making at the moment, though I'm just the assistant. I think tomorrow we'll be making some more and I'll take careful note of the ingredients etc. and send another message about it!
