Guest guest
Another request! On the Gen's show today, she had vegetarian pepperoni and salami for an antipasto plate. I've looked in the files for faux foods and don't find anything close. Does anyone have recipes for pepperoni and/or salami? I like both so need GOOD (proven/tnt) recipes so I don't have to try " 20 " and not like any of them. This converting is hard enough! TIA! ~*~ Shar ~*~
Guest guest
Yves makes a veggie pepperoni that is pretty good. There are small round slices for pizza and they have veg-back bacon in slices. Having never tasted the other type of pepperoni before I may not be the best judge. However, omni-DH likes it as do others I know. Yves also makes a veg-salami for sandwiches. I like it but again, I'm not the best judge for authentic taste. They are relatively inexpensive so it might be worth a try. BTW, what is Gen's show? Good luck, Paula , ColorMyPony wrote: > > Another request! Guest guest
Thanks, Paula! Gen is a new tv chef. She's on Saturday afternoons on ION here. She's a tall thin blonde and looks to be a model. She does a meal and starts with the non veg and switches to the whole meal ending up vegetarian. I find it interesting as it shows how to convert some recipes to vegetarian while showing the process. Her meals look really nice and look like they'd be yummy. ~*~ Shar ~*~ My homesteading blog: http://viewtoponder.blogspot.com/ GoatMilkCheeseMeat/
