Guest guest
Hi Virginia and welcome to the group. Thank you for submitting the answers to the questionnaire, which I'm forwarding to the group. If you raise most of your own food you are in a good position for transitioning to a vegetarian or vegan diet, compared with the rest of us who are dependent on food suppliers, restaurants etc. who may have different ideas than ours about what constitutes a good diet, I guess the meals you prepare are sublimely healthy and tasty too! Looking forward to hearing from you on the list. Best, Piers (co-owner with Pat) Virginia's answers: 1. Which description best fits your situation? - I am in transition to vegetarian or vegan 2. What is your main reason for choosing a vegetarian or vegan way of life? - Personal health, well-being and/or weight loss 3. Is your household totally vegetarian? If not, do you find you need to produce non-vegetarian meals some of the time? No not all members of our household are totally vegetarian but they mostly vegetarian and yes I do cook some non-vegetarian meals for those members. 4. Do you like hot and spicy food? If not, what is your favourite kind of food? I personally like it but some members of my household do not. 5. Is there anything else you would like to tell us (such as your country or region, age group, household pets/companion animals, hobbies, activities, interests, indoor and outdoor sports, etc.)? Let's hear it! I live in the Illinois, USA and we raise the majority of our own food--we are not certified organic but our practices meet actually exceed the requirements for organic gardening.
