Guest guest
Hi Marina and welcome to the group. As you say it's an extra challenge to have to prepare everything gluten free as well as vegetarian, we don't have much in the way of recipes etc. specifically dealing with this but maybe you can adapt some of the recipes here based on your experience of dealing with a gluten free diet. I'll pass on your questionnaire (below) to the list as an introduction to the members, of course we hope you'll be posting something yourself before long! Best, Piers (co-owner with Pat) THE QUESTIONS (and there are no right or wrong answers here!): 1. Which description best fits your situation? - I am a vegetarian who eats eggs and dairy (lacto-ovo vegetarian) In limited amounts. 2. What is your main reason for choosing a vegetarian or vegan way of life? - Personal health, well-being and/or weight loss Just read the China Study- loved it. 3. Is your household totally vegetarian? If not, do you find you need to produce non-vegetarian meals some of the time? No, my boyfriend still eats meat, but I limit his consumption to chicken a couple of times a week. 4. Do you like hot and spicy food? If not, what is your favourite kind of food? Sure, I love spicy Mex and Thai. 5. Is there anything else you would like to tell us (such as your country or region, age group, household pets/companion animals, hobbies, activities, interests, indoor and outdoor sports, etc.)? Let's hear it! Live in Atlanta. late 20's, have a boyfriend and a pug, love to read and surf the net. I'm also a celiac, so it's a little challenging being a vegetarian and not consume gluten. And NOW, please sign with your name or a nickname so that we will know you are! Marina
