Guest guest
Enter your vote today! A new poll has been created for the group: How would you you feel about laws which would restrict the 'ownership' of non-domestic non-human animals in the public domain and protect these animals in the following ways: a. Prohibit bears, monkeys, certain snakes, scorpions, elephants, cats (other than domestic) and other such 'exotic' animals from being newly purchased by the public EXCEPT for animals in zoos. b. Require that no person purchase new animals or breed presently 'owned' animals. c, That currently 'owned' animals that fall into the above category must be registered with the government (as domestic cats and dogs, etc., are in most places now). d. That these regulations are made by government in co-operation environmental and animal welfare/rights groups for the sake of the animals, the environment, the safety of the public, etc. o I think that the above regulations would be okay. o I think the above regulations would not go far enough. o I think the above regulations would be too strict.
