Guest guest
Hi Helga and welcome to the group. I hope you'll find plenty to interest you here - there are many animal lovers among the members, as you might expect, so you can feel at home from that point of view. And having your own allotment garden makes you much less dependent on all the commercial produce. I'll forward your answers to the questionnaire as a kind of introduction for the rest of the group. Best, Piers (co-owner with Pat) Helga's answers: 1. Which description best fits your situation? Lacto-ovo vegetarian 2. What is your main reason for choosing a vegetarian or vegan way of life? All alternatives below, including that I've never been too fond of meat or fish. - Concern for the animals - Concern for the environment and/or world hunger - Religious, spiritual and/or philosophical concerns - Personal health, well-being and/or weight loss - Other (state which) 3. Is your household totally vegetarian? If not, do you find you need to produce non-vegetarian meals some of the time? Only vegetarian cooking. 4. Do you like hot and spicy food? If not, what is your favourite kind of food? Yes, I like spicy foods. 5. Is there anything else you would like to tell us (such as your country or region, age group, household pets/companion animals, hobbies, activities, interests, indoor and outdoor sports, etc.)? Let's hear it! I live in Sweden, I'm 51 years old and share my home with three cats. I have my own allotment garden where I grow vegetables and herbs.
