Guest guest
Hi Stepholeigh and welcome to the group. Yes it's a frequently recurring theme on this group, the problem of a household where not everyone has the same ideas about vegetarianism - but you seem to have solved it pretty well! But health is increasingly an important argument - my dw was very unenthusiastic about my choice of vegetarian food until she went to a dietician who recommended much less meat and now she eats hardly any at all, just occasional fish (you can't rely on dieticians all the time, they tend to be rather keen on seafood!). Anyway I hope you enjoy the group - I'll submit your questionnaire to the group as a sort of introduction, but of course you're welcome to post your own introduction or anything else provided it's on topic! Best, Piers (co-owner with Pat) 1. Which description best fits your situation? - I am a vegetarian who eats eggs and dairy (lacto-ovo vegetarian) 2. What is your main reason for choosing a vegetarian or vegan way of life? - Personal health, well-being and/or weight loss 3. Is your household totally vegetarian? If not, do you find you need to produce non-vegetarian meals some of the time? I am the only vegetarian. My husband still eats meat, so I still do cook it sometimes, but I don't eat it. 4. Do you like hot and spicy food? If not, what is your favourite kind of food? I do like spicy foods, especially Chinese, Thai and Indian. 5. Is there anything else you would like to tell us (such as your country or region, age group, household pets/companion animals, hobbies, activities, interests, indoor and outdoor sports, etc.)? Let's hear it!
