We make white and whole wheat regularly and I like both Honey wheatberry is pretty good. Of course I like banana bread, apple bread, pumpkin bread . . . . A good rye or pumpernickel is almost always tasty. Color, hm, green and/or red and occasionally black. Companion animal. We have two dogs, Buku & KD. I would have to go with dogs. Now I actually like it. Not as good as a really dense homemade muselli (sp?) bread but that's hard to find. And my favorite companion animal is the high and mighty rescue league cat. So there!
