Guest guest Posted February 13, 2010 Report Share Posted February 13, 2010 Ah yes - bread to go with soup I'm a bit odd in that I sometimes like a slightly sweet bread to go with some soups. Boston Brown Bread is one. (The one I make is a wonderful cheat out of Barnard and Kramer's _The Garden Of Vegan_.) And there are others that I also use - such as their Oat Bread - like that. Once upon a time I'd never have considered a slightly sweet bread, whether quickbread or yeast bread or sourdough, to go with anything savoury.
