Guest guest
Hi, I am from the midwest, (Kansas -Iowa), but I have lived on five acres of beautiful Sonoran desert, west of Tucson for 34 years now. I see many wild creatures every day. Gila monsters, rattlesnakes, javalinas, many birds including several different hummingbirds. Sometimes I hear coyotes, muletail deer and racoons. Sometimes desert foxes at night. A mother skunk ate through the bottom on my mobile home and built her nest and had babies in the bottom bathwood drawer! Yes, I did smell her sometimes, but I thought she was outdoors ! We have had a 12 year drought and it has weakened the bunny population and also the Gambrel quail population. But it brought squirrels? I don't understand that. I am not a strict vegetarian, but I am trying to go that way. Merna _mtiggerfun_ (mtiggerfun) **************It's Tax Time! Guest guest
Hi Ellen, I'm also in the Atlanta metro area. I am not totally vegetarian, but eat a mostly plant based diet. Why are you finding it difficult to be veggie here? I think we are pretty lucky because we have so many options here. Leslie - Ellen Atlanta, Georgia, USA (anyone else? It's not easy to be a vegetarian in the South!) Reading, cooking, watching foreign and indy films, playing on line, walking and hiking, playing with animals. Guest guest
This is Candace, in the Ozarks. I'm still here & a vegetarian for 35+ years, although no one has ever written me a friendly private note from this group. ...I'm glad Dr Oz and The Doctors promote vegetarianism as much as they do. Thanks for having this group.
