I know several vegetarian women, but their husbands aren't, and they aren't raising their children as vegetarians; they don't yet have the conviction. My husband is not vegetarian, but the kids (almost 3 and just 12) are; we also avoid dairy and eggs -- hard now because the kids did get used to them before I decided that they should also be phased out.
