Guest guest
Dear Fellow Animal Lovers: I am 43 year old male who became a vegetarian at age 25 and never, ever looked back. Because my reasons were ethical at the core. My 11 year old daughter has been vegetarian all her life. As I explained to one recent date, to contemplate changing my diet would be as impossible as the Pope contemplating atheism. We strive to become vegan but often fall short, owing to the predominance of pizza and our ocasssional love of (real)cheese and (real) yogurt and (real) ice -cream. I would like to become a vegan but as a single parent, my life is often very difficult. My 3 dogs and 2 cats, however, have been vegan for 8 years. We cook a batch every 2 weeks and add VegePet powdered vitamin/nutrition. (see VegePet at: < A HREF= " http://www.montanasat.net/vegepet/ " >Vegetarian Cats and Dogs</A> In clothing and cosmetics we are totally vegan and have a cruelty-free house. I define CRUELTY-FREE as: <> No Animals for Food, Clothing, Cosmetics, or Consumer Products <> No Pesticides, Herbicides, or Environmentally Non-Biodegradable Products <> Trapping/Releasing of all Insects and wayward " critters " <> No Purposely-Bred Pets (only rescues and adoptions); Promotion of Spay/Neuter <> Promotion of Alternatives to Use of Animals in Scientific or Psychological Experiments <> Recycling and Replenishing of Natural Products; " Grow Trees Not Lawns " <> Low-Tech Alternatives for Environmental and Personal Health <> No Hostility, Violence, or Spanking John Elliott Atlanta atlantaGAIA P.S. If there are any eligible bachelorettes age 25-40 who are Vegetarian, please contact me for friendship/dating! :-) Photo attached
