Guest guest
Hi everyone! My name is Katarina and I'm new here. I'm a lactovegetarian since 10 years and so is my husband. We have two kids (1 and 3 years old) and they have never had any meat. I'm looking for fun dinner recipes - preferably with dairy - that could be appealing to young kids. They are getting tired of veggie burgers, meatless hot dogs, quesadillas ... and I have a hard time making food that they will accept. I would be very happy if someone could recommend a cookbook or if you would like to share a recipe with me ... Thank you! Guest guest
Hi! This is in response to Katarina's request for a cookbook and/or recipes for kids. My 12 1/2 year old daughter is a vegetarian. So far the rest of the family is not. I picked up a couple of books for family use: The Teen's Vegetarian Cookbook by Judy Krizmanic Vegetables Rock:A Complete Guide for Teenage Vegetarians by Stephanie Pierson I ordered both books through amazon.com We've tried some of the recipes and we all love them. I let her select recipes that look good to her and we work on preparation together. Sue Bucks County, PA
