Guest guest
My daughter and I are fighting a nasty thrush (yeast) infection. I have read that it is important to avoid wheat, sugar, corn and other fermented products .. As a vegan, my diet is already pretty restrictive. Does anyone on this list have any experience with this? I would love some suggestions, because I am getting tired of eating cruciferous vegetables all day! On a couple other lists I'm on many Mamas have had great success with gentian (sp?) violet. Also you will want to pick up some acidophilus capsules or powder (beneficial bacteria) to help your body fight the yeast imbalance. Also, has anyone read Vegetarian Baby & Toddler Magazine? I am thinking of subscribing, but I haven't seen any issues and I was wondering if it is informative. I have a subscription and I really like it a lot! Lots of tasty recipes for baby, toddler and the whole family. Also, stuff like how to travel with a veggie kidlet, etc. Cool little 'zine! ~Odrade~
