As I study disease control and the effects on children, Ihave come to realize that vaccinating my son protects him and other children. Maybe you should review the AAP web page and see pictures and consequences of not vaccinating URL: http///www.aap.org/. This will also connect you to the center for disease control, who have lots of information on this including mortality rates. The reason so many diseases are under control is because of immuzations. I am sorry if you feel I am intruding on a personal issue, however your choice does not only effect your child, it effects all children. But, now I feel I must defend myself. I have done extensive research on vaccinations, and I have read the information from the AAP and the CDC. I would like to point out that you have not gathered all of the information that is out there and are pointing to propaganda and scare tactics from governmental and other agencies that have incestuous ties to the pharmaceutical industry. Isn't this the problem we vegans/vegetarians are trying to overcome when educating others about our choices? Aren't we frustrated that others won't take us seriously because our beliefs are not the status quo? If you truly believe that vaccinations do what they're promoted as doing, then the fact that my children are not vaccinated should not effect the others who are " protected. " My children play with others who are both vaccinated and not. If anything, I worry about my children catching something from those who are vaccinated with live viruses!
