Guest guest
I am in Wisconsin, and we have a waiver we can sign that we have philosophical or religious reasons not to immunize. When my oldest daughter entered Jr. High, after being homeschooled, there was no problems at all with signing the waiver, available at the school. You will have to check with the laws of your state. ~shahara
Guest guest
A chairde.... I have a bit of a practical question in regards to the immunization issue... I do not want my Son vaccinated allopathically....however, it seems that this is a requirement for entering schools and the like... Do any of you have school-aged children whom you have not had vaccinated...and if you do, how did you work out that issue with the schools they are attending? Also, don't childcare institutions require some type of vaccination? My ideal is to homeschool my Son, how-ever, being a continuing college student my-Self--I don't know if this will be possible as of yet....but I have several years to really concern my-Self with this particular issue as he is 10 weeks from birth at this point! But, if any of you have resources you would like to share in regards to this, it would be muchly appreciated... I have yet to visit the websites a few of you sent along....I'm always thankful for those--it's tough being a homeopath in an allopathic world and I take all the support I can find!!! Thanks for your time and input efforts... Guest guest
I'm in Delaware and we have a religious and medical exemption. I just enrolled my 3 year old in a Montessori pre-school and I claimed religious exemption. It's very broad and I had to submit a notorized affidavit stating that I oppose vaccinations due to my religious beliefs. So far, I haven't had any questions from the school--she starts in 2 weeks. All states have a medical exemption, and all also have either a religious or philosophical exemption.
Guest guest
Kat and Kegan: Here are a few web sites that I have found helpful. The last one also contains information about homeopathy and the benefits of a vegan diet for infants and children! http://www.909shot.com/ http://www.avn.org.au/toc.htm http://www.access1.net/via/ http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/1158/Children.htm Tracy >A chairde.... > >I have a bit of a practical question in regards to the immunization issue... > >I do not want my Son vaccinated allopathically....however, it seems that >this is a requirement for entering schools and the like... > >Do any of you have school-aged children whom you have not had >vaccinated...and if you do, how did you work out that issue with the >schools they are attending? Guest guest
My daughter is now entering her second daycare and we have not had any problems with not vaccinating. Nobody has even looked twice when I gave them the letter. I wrote a short letter in which I tried to attempt why we did not vaccinate for religious reasons. I live in a state wher oyu can only be exempt for religious reasons (but religous and philosophical reasons can be the same). It is your right to say that you worship ants if you want no one can question religion. I would be happy to email you the copy of the letter that we wrote. natalie _______________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
