As for soy formula, some may contain animal–derived fats, so

check

the

ingredient label. Unfortunately, the US the food industry does not

offer ANY soy-based formulas that do not include vitamin D derived

from

lanolin, which comes from sheep's wool. There are no other

acceptable

options for formula-fed vegan infants. We haven't confirmed it yes,

but

supposedly there is a vegan soy formula by Heinz available in the UK.

However

there are very strict import laws. I am unaware of a Canadian brand.
