I compared it with many others on the shelf and it had the best numbers (not too much of some, and more than adequate amounts of others), and it contains no animal ingredients. They are in San Francisco and their # is 800-262-2116. Full potency is 6 tablets daily, the only drawback for me, since I found it hard to remember to take that many, but it's manageable. I had a very healthy pregnancy and delivery; our son is now 7 months old and I still take 3 vitamins a day to support us nursing. He is thriving wonderfully.
