Guest guest
My little girl asked me the other day if eggs really had baby >chickens in them! Ouch! We use egg substitute now. Good Luck! But they don't have baby chickens in them if they are not fertilized. We share our farm with 10 chickens without a rooster so the eggs are not fertilized and we do not feel that we are eating baby chicks. Hard to explain to little ones though. For my son, it was as simple as they would need a daddy chicken and we don't have one. Just an idea for those who do eat eggs. ~Crystal in Maine
