Guest guest
«BTW, Linda, could I beg of you to trim your sig a bit? It is generally considered good netiquette not to exceed four or five lines in length.» I got a good chuckle out of this comment and couldn't let it go by without my 2 cents. Who the heck *cares* about how long someone's signature is??? Netiquette shmetiquette. I don't think we need to have e-editors here. Just to point out to you, some people have to pay for their e-mail by the minute, especially in Europe. Downloading screeds of useless stuff costs them money and discourages their participation in the Web community. Furthermore, there are people who receive lists by digest. I cannot begin to tell you how annoying it is to have to scroll past pages of other people's signature files. Glad you had a good laugh, anyway.
