Guest guest
Hi, I am new to this web site. I heard on the radio several years ago that the song "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" was originally written for a second grade class for a school Christmas program, in the 1930s or so. This surprised me as the kids in my children's classes were losing their first teeth at age 6, 5 and even 4! I asked my dentist and she originally said no, but then realized that kids were getting their molars and even wisdom teeth earlier, so they probably were losing them earlier, too. My home school daughter (9) latched onto studying this for a science fair project (she rejected my idea of measuring the size of the earth with angles of shadows..oh well). Here, comes the help part......Do any of you know the age that you, your children, neighbors, grandparents, anyone lost their first tooth? Please include the most precise age possible, the year of their birth and some details of their diet.....approximate amount of milk consumption, meat, etc. There may not be a correlation with diet, or with time...but there may be, too. I will post whatever results we get. THANK YOU!
