Guest guest
Regarding the one year old who dropped to the 50th percentile group. Our son did too. But it was due to the natural development that occurs at that age. More interest in movement and play and discovering his world than eating. That takes time. however he loves refried vegetarian refried beans with guacamole and will eat a " ton " of it. He gets the protein and the veggies. We put onion, lemon juice (just a touch) tomatoes and avocado with a bit of salt and pepper to taste and mash it. We put a little on a corn or flour tortilla and he gobbles it down. It makes a great lunch too. Sometimes we add a little shredded soy cheese to it too. (mommy loves this lunch too.) I also took ice cube trays and filled them with a variety of small cut up foods like peas, diced carrots (slightly cooked) cucumber, fruits etc. and then used baby food for the " dip " for veggies I used an organic pasta and spagetti for veggie dip and then for fruit trays a fruit flavored baby food for dip. He still loves to do that and he is almost two. Powdered soy milk can be added to foods to add to the calorie content (and add nutritional value too) He will also eat flavored frozen tofu pops too. (I use morinu pudding mix and add cut fruit) It's great for teething too. Hope this helps. > > > Tuesday, February 06, 2001 0:23 AM > > Digest Number 114 > > > > For more information about vegetarianism, please visit the VRG > website at http://www.vrg.org and for materials especially useful > for families go to http://www.vrg.org/family. > >
Guest guest
Really can we leave hallellejah s and god out of this list ! There are enough cults in this world ! I find this totally offensive .Please create your own god list . I was getting really good advice and now I have lost respect that will have to be earned again. Thanks a bunch Joe ` GREETINGS . . . In this week's Health Tip, I continue the series of articles titled " What Would The World Be Like If Everyone Was On The Hallelujah Diet? " The sixth article in this series appears further along in this issue, and deals with how and why diabetic problems would practically become a thing of the past if everyone was on The Hallelujah Diet. Very interesting! If you have a diabetic friend or family member, you might like to forward this Health Tip to them.

Guest guest
Relax Joe, just take what you resonate with and let the rest go! You'll feel much better if you don't let yourself get worked up over someone's beliefs. I once read a quote that said you do as much harm when you take offense as when you give offense. Let it go and enjoy your day... Joe <joecoolgreen wrote: Really can we leave hallellejah s and god out of this list ! There are enough cults in this world ! Guest guest
I don't like the feeling of having anyone's beliefs pressed on me, even if it's to relax. Where would the world be if our fore-parents relaxed? .....then to the belief that Christianity is the only way and it's some Christians Duty to press others into their narrow perception of " salvation. " Our group suffers from any 'preaching', even or especially the well-meaning. - Bonnie Selva rawfood Tuesday, July 23, 2002 9:42 AM Re: [Raw Food] Digest Number 114 Relax Joe, just take what you resonate with and let the rest go! Guest guest
I deleted Drew's lengthy post that included the entire www.hacres.com newsletter. This site is listed in our bookmarks and anyone interested can go there. This moderator holds a " freedom OF religion " rather than a " freedom FROM religion " view. Posts that mention God or have a religious overtone are not automatically removed unless they are overtly offensive or attacking in nature. If you see one that I missed don't hesitate to alert me. Our membership is worldwide and its members have diverse beliefs and backgrounds. They have varying commitments to religion and relationships with God. We are not all in the same place or headed in the same direction. Life is a journey. Some of us are totally lost and others think they have found their way and want to tell others. Listen and then make up your own mind without attacking. People often DO mean well and that should be taken into account even if we have heard the same story over and over again. Who knows? Maybe it IS the truth we need to hear. Let's lighten up or all the good food we are eating is for naught. If anyone comes across a post that is not in line with his or her own beliefs just move on, hit the delete key or comment in a " gentle " and understanding way. I'll do the same. -OrionsDad
