Guest guest
I made a plea a few weeks ago, but it's still happening, so I'm going to try again.... Some internet software programs (AOL is a prime example) allow the user to set up all sorts of fun parameters that affect how their email looks and acts when it is received on the other end. This is usually done under something like " preferences " . The problem is, we don't all use the same software, and therefore it doesn't always come out the way it was sent. The particular problem I am having is that at least a few people on this list have their parameters set in such a way that reading their email causes my computer to go into a loop, in which every few minutes my screen is interrupted with a request to log on to the Web. Even if I go to another program (say, word processing), it continues. I have to exit my email software program (Netscape) in order to cancel the macro. The problem is not coming from any other source except this list. If this problem continues, I will have to uns*b. Please, please, check your email parameters. Thank you, Liz Bakwin
